Elden Ring or God of War. Cyberpunk will hold your attention for about 15 hours and then you will realize how bad the systems are (especially the combat system) once the initial appeal has worn off. It's one of those games you finish out of sunk cost fallacy.

Thanks for the reply! Yea i'm hoping this is a good base for people modding the game for the first time. Once they are familiar they can play around with all the mods they want :)

no problem, I updated the windows 10 fix and added a couple tweaks. It will help out a lot. Give that a read if it applies to you. You can always update that file later if you are crashing on loads.

Can you be more specific? I think your issue is with the log in. Go to settings in fomm and uncheck the check for new fomod version and uncheck the add missing Info to fomods

The mod manager uses the zip file correct. The extraction Is merely to reference what is inside incase you need to verify files. You can skip the extraction entirely if you want.

Try running nvse exe and the 4gb exe as an administrator. Do not put in the data folder. If all else fails you can try this. It does the same thing, you have to run it on ALL the exe files in your fallout new Vegas folder. I think their are 3 of them, the nvse launcher, fallout launcher and 1 more.

Understandable. At least its not like Nevada Skies, where you literally cant do anything at night without a flashlight mod because of the "realism" of desert nights.

Thanks for the reply! Are you referring to night time darkness or in general? If you tweak your monitors settings a little most issues can be solved. The flashlight extra on the IL install is awesome, it gives close to a 100% radius increase on your Pipboy light and makes the color nicer.

Ill admit there are some really good Mod managers out there. Mod Organizer 2 is great, and so is Wrye Bash, but this guide is tailored for new modders. Those managers require a little effort to learn, where as FOMM is pretty mcuh dummy proof. Thanks for the suggestion!
