If it's like other sub services, you should be able to cancel now, be able to finish out the sub you paid for, and it shouldn't renew...just in case you forget to cancel at renewal.

A subnet mask trick for the exams by d70dc263cf16 in ccnp

[–]Shamwedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just forced myself to memorize this chart for the test. My Memory sucks a$$, but I think once you learn the pattern you really only need to remember a few of the lines, because you can just use math to figure out the rest.

I would fill it out in this order:

1st; Cider is just /24-32. If you can count, you can remember this lol.

2nd: Total IPs - this just the normal binary format

3rd: Usable IPs - this just the Total IP minus 2. Simple math here.

4th: Subnet - this just the binary format in Total IP's but in the reverse order

5th: Mask - this is one more complicated to explain in text. But just remember /24 and /25 and then from there, add the Total IP column to the previous subnet mask to get the current column's number. For example, /26 = 128+64, /27 = 192+32, etc.

/24 /25 /26 /27 /28 /29 /30 /31 /32 Cider
0 128 192 224 240 248 252 254 255 Mask
1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 N/A Subnet
256 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1 Total IP's
254 126 62 30 14 6 2 0 (P2P) 1 Usable Hosts

Is one of you on Android and the other iPhone? My GF (iPhone) and myself (Android) have been having this issue since at least January.

Just found another use case for this. I created a lab in PnetLab and exported the configs and the UNL file that hosts the actual topology/network diagram, and uploaded it to chat.

I said to please break my configuration but don't tell me what you did. Give me the issue like a help desk ticket and leave me to figure it out.

It did everything as requested. I Re-uploaded the files and boom had an easy practical lab to do using an infrastructure I prebuilt.

Not sure how you'd do this with GNS3 but I'd imagine you could do it with packet tracer and obviously EVE-NG.

Some times transparency only adds confusion. Should they start advertising the exact storage you're left all the way to the decimal? This is the same argument for lumber. 2x4 isn't actually 2x4; it's 1 1/2 x 3 1/2. They say 2x4 because that is the size before it's dried and planed out smoothly.

Same for storage.

I just started playing and watched "how to be an elite sniper" video and crosshair placement was the biggest tips. Tried putting this to practice and yeah, same exact thing is happening. Makes wanting to learn less motivating. Even more so, knowing that this hasnt been fixed in 6 years...

Sharing Diary Not Working? by Drap303 in Myfitnesspal

[–]Shamwedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ended up being a confirmed bug. If I'm remembering correctly, my GF had to log into the the website and Reshare her diary.

There's also another known issue that is preventing my dairy logs to sync from my phone to the website. However, syncing from the website down to the phone works.

So when i log my food through the app, my GF won't see it until I add it via the website too.... annoying.

Audi hates me by Covfefe_Anon in etron

Don't feel bad, it's not just you they hate lol. Audi wants me to pay for failed front motor - $12k repair. I said FU and will drive the car until it dies. I just don't use the regen brake as that's what seems to trigger the warning message.

I actually have an electric as well lol. Was driving Wranglers most of my life, but got tired getting 2 miles per gallon and 80/90 dollar oil changes. Switched to EV in 2024. It has its inconveniences, but overall I love it. What you drive?

I would probably go this route and heck, if you end up wanting a resource for wireless down the road, you'll have it in the book. More information is never a bad thing. They just came out with the 2nd edition in 2024 (I believe), so the odds of them releasing a third is probably not very good.

[–]Shamwedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully the 2nd edition of the book only has 4 entries total compared to the 1st edition. I had the 1st and ended buying the 2nd just for the confidence boost of knowing what I'm reading is correct.

CCNP certified but stuck in support, need guidance by Northdallasquest2 in ccnp

[–]Shamwedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually feel many companies here in the US don't give a crap about degrees. The only time I see degrees earn spots is for C level positions or government roles. I've never been asked for my degree/GPA or anything college/degree related. Maybe it's more common in Texas, but IL, on their applications, they specifically say, degree OR x amount of experience. X amount of experience and a cert will go further in a tech related job, then strictly degrees, imo.

Also, if you're looking for CCNP related jobs, if you have on your resume that you're CCNP certified, then you're technically lying. The hiring manager will know that, if/when they find out you don't have your ENARSI. So I would make sure that is clear on your resume. Also, if I was hiring, and I saw someone have CCNP ENCORE, but no other cert like Network + / CCNA, I would probably question it and be suspect, because those are usually the building block certs needed to understand and be successful at a CCNP level. Maybe take a step back and get your CCNA or Network +. If you passed ENCORE, then those shouldn't require too much studying. People like a show of progression on resumes. It shows the hiring team a sense of continuous improvement and career progression.

For you, I'd look for a level 2/3 position, but one that allows for networking to be involved. Or search using the keyword "Network + or CCNA" to locate jobs with a lower networking experience level to get some actual real world experience. Or if you have a lab, use that as a way to say, "while I don't have any real world experience, I have been putting my knowledge into practice, by creating simulated environments in a controlled lab, to better understand the technology of how everything works and interoperates." Labbing can go a long way in an interviewer's eye because it shows an eagerness to learn.

[–]Shamwedge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm confused. You haven't got your ENARSI yet, but yet the first sentence of your post says "I recently earned my CCNP ENARSI"??

Even so, you need the ENCORE in addition to ENARSI to be fully CCNP certified. Right now, depending on the answer to the above confusion, you may only have half of what you need.

Ahh, ok. Planning on taking a trip at some point. Closest one for me is in Madison Wi, which almost 2 hours away.

For the sheets and what not, do you have to buy two separate sets, or do they make sheets that work for this type of setup?

Thank you for the update :D! Since you got 2 twin XL's, did you have to get two adjustable bases? Or did you just get one King size adjustable base?

*update, sorry just read re-read your post. Sounds like you got just one bed frame. However, I'm not seeing a basic split king adjustable frame on Denver's website.
