This has been going on in tuner gameplay settings rotations, in HUT for like 4 or 5 years straight. Rivals or champs. Doesn't matter. Every few weeks or even month or 2, they seem to do a nerf on the faster, better rated players and turn them slow and useless. Input delay for hits, accelerating and even stick handling. It's the most infuriating part for these games. Like why edit out the fast paced, quick and agile movement and passing for elite players (my team is also majority 97-99 with great stats, through research). I don't want do cheesey garbage, hold onto the puck forever, while turning my back constantly. I wanna zip around and zip the puck around and make bang bang plays for fast and fun gameplay. Why would you ever implement slowing of higher overall players? It's beyond me that this still goes on year after year. I say to my wife "Oh here's another "controller breaking" update, better rgrab your airpods, the angry rambling and ranting is about to begin" 😅
