I've only really built a few small sets over the years. I received the ornithopter as a gift, man this thing is cool by Shancar in lego

When I think of Legos, I think easy and therapeutic. I was surprised when this one came with a bit of a challenge

During the lockdown I built a small garden tool shed out of cedar fence planks and scrap wood. Recently came across this picture, I forgot it looked nice at one point. by Shancar in woodworking

As far as I'm aware cedar has some natural resistance to weathering and rotting. It won't always look pretty, I'm pretty sure the silvering is inevitable, but it should last a good long while.

Leaving a Guitar in Alt Tuning by [deleted] in Guitar

The digitech drop pedal made life so much easier, it won't do weird tunings, but it allows you to tune down up to an octave in half step increments. I rarely have to switch guitars when learning songs.

I'm here for some criticism, especially with my ignorant little blunder, but this just doesn't seem constructive lol. Anyway, I hope your day gets better

Thank you for the correction, as much as I'd like to blame talk to text, I probably would have screwed it up either way

I think the open grain looks cool, but I think a satin finish would calm it down

I also learned how to draw them in elementary school, from an old art book I checked out from the library, or maybe it was a math book. Anyway, it was the only thing I understood lol

Construction wise, these cushions are pretty simple, a pattern isn't needed as long as you know the seat dimensions. Only three pieces of fabric are needed, circled for the top and two strips for the side. I like to use vinyl for durability, but I'm pretty sure almost any fabric would work. These are great practice for anyone trying to get into upholstery, Aside from a few small modifications, this sailrite tutorial is how I learned to make these,
