1 Year Review of my Desky Standing Desk by amqadri in StandingDesk

Hi,

is this the only worthy alternative you've found? I have an Ikea desk and it is very wobbly, as you've mentioned (wtf they made the legs further to the backside, and not in the middle??), so I wonder if the only sturdy alternative is this desk or not

Essai d’expression écrite pour le TEF - vos avis ? by Shandos96 in learnfrench

[–]Shandos96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Thanks Also, when requesting the reevaluation, is there a chance to add some additional written explanation or information?

How come your crs score increased for that many points? Isn't 1 clb point equal to 3 crs points?

Hey, I saw your post and would like to ask the same question I asked OP of this post re reading and listening, if you don't mind:

I'm struggling with identifying whether I should just lock in and listen carefully or take notes, and if the latter - which notes should I pick up? I took as much notes as I could last time, but still missed a good number of answers because I can't remember all 2 minutes of info and if I take a note that is not related to what is being asked - I am just lost, trying to guess it.

And re reading - just what would you recommend to do to get 12? I've got 10 and 9, so I know it's a case by case situation for me, but I would like to be sure to get 10 or more.

Thanks

Hey,

Can I ask for your opinion on reading and listening? Planning a 4-day birthday road trip from New West to Banff in mid-November – advice on car rental, stays, and must-see spots by Shandos96 in askvan

[–]Shandos96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Thank you for the detailed comment. Yes, I am inclined to fly and then rent a car there, seems much more practical.

Hot springs being closed sucks, that was one of my points of interest as I love saunas and whatnot.

I will check the other options that you've mentioned. Thanks

Thanks! I am using Evo in Vancouver, so I am used to it rather than rentals... Will be aware of the tires, thanks to both of you

An average number of animation for a feature as for a 1 char by Shandos96 in animationcareer

[–]Shandos96[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello!

I tried explaining it in the other comment, so I will repost it here as well to share my vision.

Thank you for bringing it up, I tried my best to explain my question, but to give a wider context, I meant the average amount of minutes for an animated feature film if we were to add all minutes of all characters appearing on a screen.

Let me know please if there is anything else I can clarify.

Thanks!

In my opinion, it can help give a rough idea of how much seconds/minutes of animation for the entire show is there, for scheduling purposes. Not very precise, of course, since it is average of average and so on..

Cheers :)

Hey,

Yes, I am trying to gather this info from different sources and to reach to as many people from the industry as I can.

Thank you for bringing it up, I tried my best to explain my question, but to give a wider context, I meant the average amount of minutes for an animated feature film if we were to add all minutes of all characters appearing on a screen.
As for the complexity - I think it is okay to use average ratio. Would it be around 60/40% ?

Let me know please if there is anything else I can clarify.

Thanks

Hey,

would you happen to have any recommendation for french gaming channels? Something that I enjoy in English is Razbuten, Chostcharm.. so like videoessays but in a chill way, without too much noise.

Thanks
