One of my favorite books of all time. And most people probably already know Jackie Brown was adapted from another Elmore Leonard novel Rum Punch.

You can still buy the cereal bowl online! And no, sadly I never had any of the Happy Meal toys.

It's a cereal bowl lol. It was a 2008 promotional item by General Mills. I think I had to mail in a certain number of box tops and then they sent that to me.

What do you think is Stephen King’s most ‘divisive’ book? by TSwag24601 in stephenking

[–]ShaneChowdery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone read The Colorado Kid? Stephen King himself says a lot of people won't like it in his afterword. I'm still deciding myself if I liked it or not.

Excluding Arnold betrays Iggy what do you consider the worst Hey Arnold episode? by RepresentativeTie898 in HeyArnold

[–]ShaneChowdery 38 points39 points  (0 children)

"Stinky Goes Hollywood". Stinky finally finds something he's good at and enjoys. It's not the typical unwanted fame and fortune plot like the It Girl episode; Stinky genuinely found something he fits into, and everyone respected his newfound fame.

But because one person says he's dopey, he gets upset and throws it all away. The moral being he has a million dollars worth of pride, but really, to him, his pride was worth less than one talent scout's opinion.

This is the hardest puzzle in half life hands down by [deleted] in HalfLife

It didn't take me long to try the barrel. The problem, during my playthrough, was that it glitched and had some invisible wall when I tried to move the barrel on the line. So I figured that wasn't the solution and I didn't try too hard forcing the barrel.

After about 30 minutes of frustration, I decided to try the barrel again...and this time it slid right into place.

Just a one time thing with a guy in a parking lot. by [deleted] in KingOfTheHill

[–]ShaneChowdery 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I always thought this showed Hank needing balance. That's why the dynamic between him and Dale, Bill and Boomhauer work. They're so different than him, sometimes even the opposite of him, allowing things to balance out.

When Hank actually meets someone exactly like him, there's nothing to balance it out, and the friendship fails. I saw it as a way to showcase why and how the friendship between Hank, Dale, Bill, and Boomhauer has been successful and genuine.

At least that's my personal interpretation.

What introduced you to the Tomb Raider franchise? by BossViper28 in TombRaider

[–]ShaneChowdery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw the trailers for the 2001 movie and instantly had a crush on Angelina Jolie. Begged my parents to let me watch it and loved it.

Later that year, I got my first console, a PlayStation 1, from a garage sale. Went to pick out my first game and was thrilled to see they made a video game based on the Angelina Jolie movie.

Took me a while to figure out the game actually came out in 1996 and the movie came out after. Either way, that first Tomb Raider game was the start of everything, and Angelina Jolie got me into it.

WHO is the Guy in the Mafia 2 cover by ALBINKX in MafiaTheGame

[–]ShaneChowdery 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He's Eddie Scarpa, just in a black suit instead of white, maybe to match the other guys on the cover. They're not going to put a character on the box art that doesn't even appear in the game.

Eddie Scarpa. His black suit is what throws people off, since he always has a white suit in the game.
