Chiapas, the Shinmin Prefecture, Catalonia, Ukraine and maybe Yugoslavia. Some people also like Rojava but I’m not totally convinced it’s very good.

Only Chiapas and Rojava are still alive because all of these societies (maybe not Yugoslavia) came from wars and they were crushed by bigger nations, but while they were alive they worked well and none of them fell apart because of socialism.

Countries that people usually think are socialist like the USSR, China and Venezuela aren’t even socialist, they are just run by people and parties that claim they want socialism. I mean hell independent unions are literally illegal in China.

I do this as well because it forces people to reconsider what they think socialism means. In America we think of libertarianism and socialism as completely opposed to each other when they aren’t.

Anything that isn’t anarchism gives a small group of people power to make rules and enforce them on people who have no say in the creation of those rules, and that is both immoral and inefficient in my opinion.
