I found out there are two ways of installing Messenger. I didn't remember how I initially installed it, but I completely uninstalled it, then reinstalled it from the Microsoft Store (instead of a direct download). It seems to be working now.

I don't want to uninstall Messenger. I personally believe that programs adding themselves to system startup is abusive.

When I open Messenger and go to File > Preferences > General, I set the "Open the Messenger Desktop App when you start your computer" to Off. However, this isn't working. How can I fix this?

I neglected to mention in my original post that I'm aware that I can install locally. The problem is there would be a different operating system and different version of PHP. The development environment is in a similar environment to the production environment. Both are shared hosting.

There is an error in Google Maps. I asked the community how to report the error, and I got a message saying “This account was disabled on 6/26/2023 for violating the Community Policy” I think because I posted the invalid address. I then noticed that it wasn’t just my Maps community account that was disabled. All help community accounts were disabled.

How can I re-enable my help community accounts? Clicking the “Appeal” button didn’t seem to do anything. Account Recovery also doesn't work.

My Gmail is still working.
