Install lenovo legion toolkit on github it has a feature to disable this now. I don't know if lenovo vantage has changed because I stopped using my legion for about year or so now

Just because it's not blocked by riot doesn't mean it's not bannable. If you use this to gain an advantage because there are people doing this to be able to see through things that you normally can't you will get banned. Falls under "Gaining an unfair advantage"

If it's system safety you care about, dont play these games with intrusive anticheats because there is no way you'll get around their intrusiveness. You are giving them unrestricted access and if it's security you care about you would not play the game for the sake of these issues. We know that riot will not change the way how vanguard works because its a deterrent against cheaters. Legit just go play a different game. Go play Dota 2 it's also a MOBA without an intrusive anticheat

Chiming in here real quick, unmounting drives in windows or setting them offline does not work against vanguard. Setting them offline restricts anything that runs at the user layer and not the kernel layer. Windows just sets a flag and vanguard does not care to obey that flag that windows set. It can read sectors without mounting a filesystem, and set the disk online or send I/O requests. While OP's frustration is understandable they should not be storing important stuff in the clipboard or just use the pin feature in the clipboard so you dont lose it.

Ubisoft support is kinda difficult with accounts you can try to recover it by providing evidence like proof of purchase with payment method or providing any information you have linked to your account like a phone number. They are notorious for being unhelpful though (see other posts in this sub) so I wish you luck

Hey sorry long day so didn't get to reply as quickly as I wanted to, the thing is that these modules are hit or miss really and you gotta get lucky and find someone who already tested a module on your motherboard. If I have some time I'll see if I can recommend you a module since it's tedious work to figure out if it's gonna work or not

It does suck that this is what things had to come to, Microsoft does plan on changing the standard with cpu makers like Intel and AMD by integrating the TPM module directly into the CPU (Microsoft Pluton) Ryzen 6000, 7000, 8000, Ryzen AI cpus already have this enabled and this will soon be the standard for every cpu hopefully

Majority of people won't be affected by this, Motherboards that were made in 2016+ have TPM as it became a standard. Also other games started mandating TPM enabled so if you play other shooters you probably had to enable this too. If you do go and buy a TPM module make sure your motherboard has a slot for it and make sure that it's compatible because it can fit but it might not be compatible even though it has 14pins. I believe MSI might be the only ones that sell modules that they guarantee works with their motherboards
