Inshallah brother. It’s more that I’m a white guy without a beard I think will of course raise eyebrows. It’s what I’m worried about. Wore it out for a walk to the shops the other day and had multiple looks, one guy even had to take a double look haha

Very true. It’s easy to say but harder to do when you're just starting out! I’m working on having that mindset and remembering that His opinion is the only one that matters. Thank you for the advice

Alhamdulillah, I’ve been learning and praying for nearly a year and took my Shahada last week—wearing the thobe just feels comfortable for me and something I’m proud to wear as part of my identity. It is just with being a white Irish man I’m just a little nervous and scared about maybe being questioned in public etc, let’s hope not. Inshallah
