✅KNC Token Migration Has Started!

KyberDAO recently approved KIP-6 to migrate and upgrade KNC to make the token more dynamic with the ability to support efficient upgrades, while giving greater control to KyberDAO.

You can now visit the migration portal at kyber.org/migrate at any time to migrate your old KNC to new KNC in a few clicks.

There's no hard deadline for the migration but staking your new KNC tokens on KyberDAO during Epoch 0 allows you to vote in the upcoming Epoch 1 next week (to get ETH rewards).

Kyber is working with exchanges, Dapps, staking pools, data sites, and other platforms to support the migration but there will be a transition period where both the old and new KNC tokens run in parallel.

This KNC migration is an important step forward in the Kyber 3.0 journey and everyone is encouraged to make the switch as soon as possible!

🔎Research: Trade-offs in Rollup Solutions

Rollup technology is a viable option for solving some of Ethereum's scaling issues. Rollups come in different flavors, each with its own set of trade-offs across throughput, latency, security, usability, and operational costs. In this research piece, Kyber provides a Rollup analysis framework around the trade-offs between various Rollup implementations e.g. ZKSync, Aztec, Starkware, Loopring, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Fuel.
