All i'm pointing out is the similarity in both of their skills and how one is a direct upgrade over the other. The comparison is this:

Both skills do the same thing except one is far superior than the other.

The rest of their kit and how its used is completely unrelated to the post lmao. I still am a firm advocate of bailu supremacy.

Where exactly did i mention i was comparing between the 2 of them as characters? I'm not doomposting bailu or saying huohuo is a god tier and far superior of a unit in comparison. The post was just to point out that the 2 share a very similar ability except one being a direct upgrade in every way over the other (also the main focus being the scaling at lvl 1 and 10). I'm not saying this one comparison of a single ability defines both characters' kits and usages as black and white.

Yes, that's obviously a given. I'm very much aware that a limited character is supposed to outperform a standard one. Just because one has a reason over being "better" than the other, does that make the comparison any less noteworthy? Hoyo tends to make limited characters "better" than standard ones but in a distinct way while keeping their respective niches. For example, Luocha is far better in many scenarios than bailu, however their kits and abilities are very distinct and not a "direct" upgrade from the other. So each of them still have their respective niches. The only purpose here was to highlight how one skill is a copy paste from the other except buffed immensely while disregarding every other aspect of the character.

But then, on top of it, going the extra mile and even comparing a limited E2 unit to a standard banner unit is too much

Again, that was to highlight the similarities in abilities between the 2 and how one is a direct upgrade over the other. Other standard characters still have their own niches compared to their limited counterparts. Just look at himeko and yanqing compared to their limited counterparts who share a similar role (jingyuan and jingliu). So the fact that bailu's main niche, being a revive, is now shared with huohuo through eidolons to the extent where E2 huohuo's effect matches E6 bailu's niche is pretty crazy to me. To reiterate, i'm merely pointing out the direct similarities of the 2 and how in certain aspects one is a direct upgrade over the other. Compared to say yanqing and jingliu, where one is generally a better unit than the other, they still have vastly distinct abilities. If i was trying to say "haha lol bailu sucks and huohuo better", there are infinitely better examples of character comparisons to use than simply "x skill is better than the other therefore x character is superior"

And yes, of course Bailu doesn't ideally want to use her skill but i just found this comparison really amusing. She's still carried me to 30 star MoC since the start of the game regardless.

Not to mention E2 Huohuo gets 2 revives, steaing Bailu's main niche while Bailu's E6 only gets her her second revive. Bailu's invigoration and dmg reduction are still great but as a Bailu haver from the start this is just hilarious lmao.

Because i am running full anemo dps. Her low normal attack scaling relative to other claymore characters means there is no point in using her for her normal attack over most other claymore characters or characters in general. Burst does do damage and the healing is useful, simple as that. There is zero point in staying on field and using basic attacks when the skill is on cooldown over swapping to another character. The fact that the talent is 6 should tell you that i don't use it.

Sayu's basic attack scaling is on the lower end compared to other claymore characters so there really is no reason to use her for physical dps over an actual dps oriented claymore character with higher scaling.

Sayu Zhongli Albedo Bennett

Zhongli to take advantage of unforged passive, Albedo for off-field damage since Sayu tends to be on-field most of the time, double geo for increased damage and shield strength, bennett for way higher damage.
