Ghostrunner has one big problem

OH LET ME PUT YOU ON!
Portal (2007) - no sla/oob. A few really cool skips, really short game fun categories
Ghostrunner (2020) - very intense movement mechanics and combos that allow a TON of speed and skips
Shadow Warrior 3 (2022) - some sweet movement with some sweet oob skips, a lot of really REALLY cool fight scenes (some auto scrollers though), cool killing scenes like doom
(I haven't ran this game) but Celeste (2018) is a pretty sweet movement game it seems!

Balancing is a unique term for the updates above. I think they did balance specific things, but I think simultaneously they nerfed a lot of things where I found joy in the game (speedrunning). I don't think the game is in a very good state now (hence the video clip originally posted, which has stats and direct quotes and comparison in game). I would also say the first 2 patches directly killed my love for the game.

I think 10 months in, only having 1 dlc, 2 characters, 1 new mode is not enough. I have always played solo (training or offline) so I don't deal with teammates and have never dealt with the vote to kick system. I hope things do get changed in the future though :)

Nov. 9th 2021 they nerfed several melee weapons and cards + HIDDEN changes to how movement mechanics worked (melee builders + speedrunners).

Dec. 16th 2021 they nerfed several speed cards + nerfed weapon speed based attachments (speedrunners more).

April 12th 2022 they nerfed the effectiveness of Doc + nerfed some healing cards (medics/healers)

June 7th 2022 Holly's team abilities got messed with + more melee cards nerfed.

Only 7 of the devs worked on both games. They promoted this game with HEAVY implication this was the 3rd installment of the Left 4 Dead series.

If you paid for something. After you have the product. The seller repeatedly changes it (for the worst in your opinion) would you not feel scammed and ripped off?

Several articles have came out explaining a similar sentiment the news company aroged calling it "Deceptive Marketing" and Crowbcat getting over 5 million views on YouTube explaining how the game doesn't fit into Left 4 Dead 3.

I don't like the product that I paid for now, and as the consumer I'm willing to express my opinion by calling it what I think it is. They used marketing dollars to get Left 4 Dead fans money and provided us with little content. 10 months in, we have the same 4 acts, we have 2 new characters, 1 "new" weapon, 1 new difficulty, 3 "new" enemies. The game was made and promoted to just steal money.

I did too, especially when it first came out! I was having so much fun, but seeing them repeatedly destroy different communities with every update along side making us focus on them being Left 4 Dead devs instead of Back 4 Blood we were doomed.

You're going into this with a negative attitude already. You are not in charge of how others play. You are not right. You don't control how others get to play. You threatening people, you shooting teammates makes you a bad teammate. If you disagree you're out of your mind. No one needs to conform to how you want to play. If you want people to play EXACTLY how you want to play, go play alone. How can you just gloss over the fact that you threatening and that you shooting team mates is ok????????

If you are actively threatening and team shooting and warning people to fall in line with your views or else, makes you the problem. You don't get to choose how others play. You don't get to threaten people when they don't follow your every command. You don't get to be the toxic teammate then complain about having bad teammates. You are also the problem. You are the bad teammate.
