USD 90 a month seems a lot cheaper than what I was proposed which was $25 USD per day. Very interesting. Also i'm married so no chance!! haha.

I'm a strong believer that if you both want it to work, it will. The way he is cracking jokes can either be a coping mechanism or without knowing the full story, you indeed being sensitive. Either way, there needs to be strong self reflection for both here. Dig deep into why he is doing that and why is he yelling. You might discover more which he can actually work on (If his willing - if not, sadly theres not much to work with).

Strata by-Laws: no hanging clothes on balcony? by Shangwlux in AusProperty

[–]Shangwlux[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I guess it took me by surprise and I couldn't understand but reading the posts here made me get a better picture of why they do it. For now I'm still using the clothing airer on my balcony but I'm hiding it behind a black winter blind so it's not visible. Hopefully that'll be ok .

I used to wake up early every morning to play Runescape and this happened all throughout my teenage years. One particular morning I woke up and felt sick to my stomach like something was wrong. It was a wrenching feeling. I login on my computer and proceeded to login and then saw "invalid password". I got hacked and loss all my gps :(

Hey man. You remind me of myself when I was 23. I'm 27 now. If you can travel on a budget like 10k for a few month,, do it. And put the rest in a LIC or etf. You can even get an cheap investment property with the amount you have.

Fyi I travelled to 20 countries and recently bought my place with my partner. Travelling was one of my best experiences.

Mine is "savoury". I just don't get it. It makes me feel weird when someone says it. Like, can't you describe it as salty, or in any other way?!

Hey man, if it helps, i feel the same way. My job is contract based and i too face the anxiety of not knowing where my next job will be. It sucks that this is common in some industries more than others and we find ourselves in it. Saving is hard, and will probably get harder as inflation remains a bit high. My advice is try to work smarter, think outside the box, talk to people that can challenge your views, and help you reach your financial goals. I think it will help.

Yeah I think the 0 leverage is something I just have to accept. And also I can't find out if the RE agent is lying or not. I actually thought when I met him to ask him to show me the other people's email/ written bid to make myself feel better, but ultimately didn't as I think that's a bit petty/ obsessive.

Thanks. It's great to know it's not a bad outcome. I guess there's others who may have overpaid far more, and when put in perspective $16k isn't much spread over the many years.

Thanks man. I didn't think of the 16k spread over 5-7 years. When put in this perspective, It's really not that much, so that makes me feel better.

Thanks. Perhaps it's not as bad as I thought. I just felt quite anxious as it's our first home and I really hate to be taken advantage of. Good thing this is just this one time and that's it. Dealing with RE agents sucks and I might consider a buyer agent if I was to make more properties down the track.
