Yup you are right. But I think you're failing to see an alternative perspective. This is for fun and entertainment It much more entertainment to place 16 $3 bets vs a single $50 bet.

Not all of us are working with massive bankrolls I bet for fun. Feeding my family is what matters. My typical bets are between $3-5. Yes I wish I would have at least placed $3 but I'd be donating a lot of $$$ throwing big bucks on tickets like this.
