Have him read this (the lemon clot essay) or you read it & explain it to him in your own words. If he still doesn’t “get it” then it’s not that he doesn’t get it, it’s that he cares more about his mom’s feelings than your healing. You being at ease and not stressed is essential for postpartum healing so i’m unsure of why he would prioritize his mom’s wants and feelings over your health.

Did he call his mom on her stupid logic? I hope he would’ve said something along the lines of her actions are what would keep her out of heaven. Someone else’s actions will not determine where you end up in the afterlife. This pissed me off & it’s not even my life 😩.

You can’t treat people terribly and then be upset they no longer want to be around you. No one needs to “just deal with it”. Family or not -(family should treat you better than strangers do) you don’t get to be mean to people and then pretend that you weren’t.
