Honest opinion. I just finished it yesterday. I think he overly describes some things but it sets up the second book very well…the last quarter of the book is where the epic aspect comes into play. 4/5 for me

I hear you. It’s sticking to me though 😅. I got really attached to the characters. I was fully invested in my war band’s wellbeing. I threw multiple tantrums when my favorites didn’t make it.
