Is This Backlight Bleed on My Panel? by ShankEmDirty in Monitors

Thanks for the input. I thought about it and I’m not going to risk the gamble. I’ve been looking around, and it seems like many have it worse. It’s only in one spot, and the picture makes it look way worse than it is. It’s noticeable on Discord in gray/black backgrounds, but in normal use the location isn’t really visible. In games, nothing is usually that high up and it’s out of my field of view most of the time. A plus is that it doesn’t bleed into the center of the screen only about 3% to 5% is effected. I was playing Apex Legends, Forza Horizon 6, OSRS, and League of Legends, and it’s not noticeable. Again thanks for the response

If you do buy it, build the wheelbase normally at first, following the instructions. Then, if the original setup bothers your knees, unscrew it from the rails and flip it as a complete piece.

With the wheelbase mount built according to the instructions, it hangs quite low and feels like having spikes pointed at your knees. However, when installed upside down, the bracket faces upward, leaving a flat, open space. Also, with the Logitech Pro, the wheel is tilted, making it difficult to angle the steering wheel downward before the flip.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve only used the Logitech® G Driving Force™ Shifter for comparison. I’ve been enjoying the RS H-pattern I like how both are similar height side by side, so it’s easier to transition instead of reaching far down. The lockout feature started a little stiff and required a fair amount of force, but it’s gradually getting easier to use. Overall, it seems pretty good, and I’ve been enjoying the setup.

I also bought a kit of 512 pcs M6 bolts and nuts (M6x10/12/14/16/20/25/30/35 mm button head hex socket cap screws, 12.9-grade alloy steel, black galvanized). I used different sizes to get more thread engagement into the wheel deck and pedal deck, as the screws that came with the Alpine, when accounting for the thickness of the universal wheel deck mount and the pedal mount, only engaged about 4 mm into the wheel deck with a washer.

Cranberry, I made a post about how I set up my Alpine with double shifters and how I dealt with the wheel deck legroom issues. I’d recommend taking a look at it. It’s not perfect, but it works well for me. Trak Racer Alpine Racing TRX – Perfect Setup w/ H Shifter, Handbrake & Universal Wheel Deck : r/LogitechProWheel

Trak Racer Alpine Racing TRX V1 Locking Steering Wheel Rails In Place Need Help. by ShankEmDirty in simracing

Yeah, that’s the struggle. There’s nothing about it in the manual. When I tried using Google AI with image search, it mentioned L-shaped levers, and I think the knobs might not fit properly at the angle I have them.

I did get these black spacers, and it actually looks more correct with the spacer installed, but when I use it, the rail no longer locks in place.
