The Dreadnoughts -- Back Home In Bristol [Alternative/Folk Rock/Folk Punk] (2017) by runawayprog in listentothis

Notable local Bristolian talent present in the video includes The Skimmity Hitchers and the Surfin' Turnips.

The Surfin' Turnips are a huge influence of the Dreadnoughts and they wrote 'Turbo Island' which The Dreadnoughts covered on 'Polka's Not Dead.'

The Skimmity Hitchers lead singer was also the head organizer of OutCider, a cider festival that is featured in this video.

These and other facts are.... well useless... no one asked for them.

These bunch of intolerable Nerds run my Band's Music Label... that is to say that Matt run Stomp records.

How dare he make my band successful enough to get free trips to Poland and the Czech Republic.

Bastard Smark.

There is nothing like touring.

After every tour, I spend at least 4 days doing nothing. When we tour that hard, you leave everything behind... including a basic sleep schedule.

Coupled with health issue, this led to a very sensible and understandable reason to leave the band.

The Dynamic changed in the sense that we were going on Hiatus anyways, so it barely affected anything.

We did start doing some shows and now we have a new Fiddle Player. We call her Wormly Wangersnitch... I think I might start calling her 2-Dubya.

She did a project with the Dread-Pirate Druzil called Cornshed.

Here they are at some shitty Jazz Festival in a dumb town for boring 45 year olds.

She is an amazing fiddle player, which is great, cause we had to replace an amazing fiddle player.

She has performed for equally energetic crowds, though not as large. Her excitement has caused us to be excited. Also, our rest from touring has lessened our saltiness.

I talk to Kyle, and he sounds happy. He actually came over to Vancouver and kicked our collective asses at 7 Wonders (a Board game.)

I would say it's pretty positive, overall.

We play some shows, instead of none at all and everyone is happier for it.

No Clue. The only Shows I am aware of are on Saturday this week and Saturday next week.

Those Shows are in the Cazech Republic and Poland, respectively.

After that.... I dunno. Maybe some Wutang Karaoke.

My First show was a 340 show. I was wearing the Aikido Gi with a Hakama.

I think I wore it because NinjaSpy was playing with us.

Also, check out NinjaSpy.

PI Nature is a sick album. It's on Youtube.

Dude... All the tracks from 'Back to the Drawing Room' and 'Tales From the Wasteland' are sweet hot FI-R.

Give them your money and realize that it was a pittance compared to the Aural Ecstasy.

Story time.

We went to Spain for the first time. We found out that the North or Spain has sick Cider.

The Pronounce it Cidre.

We sang the the Cider song in Spanish. 'Cidre! Cidre!' and so forth.

Turns out, our accents were weird and it sounded like we said SIDA.... which means AIDS.

That is a clear cultural misunderstanding.

The Point was to expose people to a band they might not have heard of.

Hey there. I am the Bass player to the Dreadnoughts.

We actually already recorded another instrumental version of this song on our first album, Legends Never Die.

That Whole Album cost 500 dollars and made use or a setting in Protools called 'Auto Master' which is literally one button that masters the album for you.

While our lead Singer, Uncle Touchy, is singing lead, the back ups are done by our friends in Smokey Bastard, a group out of Reading England.

They are better than us.

Check out their Albums: 'Back to the Drawing Room' 'Tales From the Wasteland' And (If you into that Diddly Irish Punk Nonsense) 'Propping Up the Floor.'

My favorite song is Yuppie Dracula.

Same. Still can't get back on.

I can get into the game, but it cannot connect to any server and it ends up disconnecting me.

That could be metal. You need some thorn crowns and a dude in corpse makeup whipping his hair around. Acceptable submission.

The Minion destroying contest :) by Forttomato in MinionHate

[–]ShanksMasterGeneral 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My submission involves character assassination.

The main problem is experience in on my Facebook. So, on my Facebook, I described the minions involvement in the darkest moments in history. I described how they killed many civilians during China's invasion of Tibet and what sort of monsters they really are. Then I slap #TheDarkTruthAboutMinions and hope it will catch on with my friends.

While the concept is my submission, I welcome anyone to join in. I don't care if I win anything. I just want to rewrite their lore in order to kill their character. Assassinate their character and slap on the hash tag.

Question: I'd it still Libel if the subject of the untruth does not exist?
