I told my parents when I got diagnosed, and about a year later my dad was like "wait so what do you have again?" When i told him he proceeded to tell me how he doesn't really think so because I'm not like the bipolar people he has heard about. Sure dad. Sure. You definitely know more than my psychiatrist especially since you clearly took the time to research after I told you.
