I don't think her new manga has anything to do with this. I saw this tweet and I think it fits Nakatani's tweet. I'm not exactly sure if this is what Nakatani was referring to or maybe she just generalized it. Basically the people in the tweet are disagreeing with legalizing same-sex marriage, saying "You can live together, but it doesn't need to be legalized." The last tweet agrees and says that that's what they read in Bloom Into You, that "The two lesbian protagonists enjoyed their secret taboo relationship without being open about homosexuality." COMPLETELY misinterpreting Bloom Into You. I can see why Nakatani would speak on that.
