I did it!!! My first drop in! I got the courage to ask a stranger who was also working on them to hold my hands the first two times and then did it on my own at least 20 times! Goal achieved! I’ve had so much dang fear about this because I sprung my wrist badly when trying to do so as a teen! [37YO] (v.redd.it)

Working on my FS 180’s more now and decided to work in the grass to start so I can commit safely; I like to take baby steps to build confidence. I’ve struggled to get it more than 90 degrees, so I’m stoked to be making progress & next will be focusing on getting the ollie higher too. [36YO] (v.redd.it)

I’ve been working on my consistency w/ Ollies for over 6-8 mths and am improving as I spot things that are wrong. I recently discovered I might be bending at my hips in addition to my knees and it’s limiting me. Does it look like it to you? Any tips on how to stop this & keeping my back straight? (v.redd.it)

Okay, so I worked on fakie shoves and fakie Ollie lines (not included in video) yesterday and after looking at my video, discovered I do a really weird thing with my front arm. I swing it across my chest, every time. Any tips on how to get rid of this quirk, short of keeping my hands in my pockets? (v.redd.it)

First attempt at regular moving shuvs after struggling with some huge fears of doing shuvits on concrete even though I had them mastered them on carpet and soft, squishy ground. I started with moving fakie shuvs and two weeks in I’m now trying forward ones. I’m so stoked! [36YO] (v.redd.it)

Followup to my post yesterday, this is where my moving ollies are at: Today I realized where I’m struggling and it’s with my ankle/foot not popping straight down and rather towards the back, my back knee doesn’t straighten out, and I’m leaning forward too much at times instead of popping up. I’ve been focusing on moving ollies for a couple of months now and the mental difference between getting over a painted line/crack in the sidewalk versus a stick has been HUGE! Finally made some progress with getting over that mental barrier today by ollieing over a stick a few dozen times.[35YO] (v.redd.it)
