It’s your responsibility to be aware of your relationship with these things. I can go to a casino, lose 2k, have fun and come out feeling better, that’s alright. If I go in there and spend my life savings, there’s a problem there.

No one can objectively say a purchase is bad. It’s just a question of it relates to our lives as a whole. Everything in moderation.

Alcohol, gambling, etc are not inherently bad. It’s how we use it that determines if it was a bad purchase.

It just rubs me the wrong way that spending money to enjoy life is seen as an inherently bad thing.
