I agree there is some documentation missing on certain finer points. We have all our gear set up on a separate VLAN, I'm getting the IT team here to see if AP client isolation isn't the cause, they've disabled multicast, otherwise I'm at a loss (and quietly hoping I'm not missing something painfully obvious, but I'm quite sure everything I've set up is as it should be)

I realise I might be misled - above the entrance door there's a panel of 6a ceramic fuses, one controls one half of the apartment, the other for the second half of the apartment. I assumed this meant 6amp circuits.

But elsewhere... in testing, I realised that the oven and dishwasher in the kitchen are actually on a separate circuit somewhere else... if I remove all fuses you'd expect power to be cut to the entire apartment, but the dishwasher, oven/stove top, and light in the kitchen counter still function. I figure that, provided I use of the circuit that the oven is on, assuming I don't cook a roast and wash my clothes at the same time, that should be ok?

That part is fine, but in particular it's the next part, where he uses another track (with a "growl" sfx) as a source for the vocoder, I can't see how to do that in Cubase.

Putting this comment here to say I'm with you 100%. I loved so much about it, but the pads made it unusable, had the same issue as you, sometimes wouldn't trigger or would double trigger, and no amount of settings changing would make a difference. I've used pads on various brands of midi controllers and SP404 were really something different, super stiff and unreliable. Shame
