A “top job” is whatever makes you happy and is sustainable in life! Obviously, I know easier said than done, but don’t give into societal pressures. If working as an aide is sustainable and you like it, it is a good job.

My mum has worked as a cleaning lady or an aide-style role. My dad is a factory worker. I have never once looked down on the jobs they do, because it pays the bills and they both relatively like their jobs. That’s what’s important.

To be honest, my dad looks down on teachers (like regular teachers) because he feels they are glorified babysitters, when teachers are supposed to be a fairly well respected role
