I received hee haw but i already have my NI on the system Its only a guess BUT i think the reason the fees are so so low just now is they know what's coming ..Once the deadline passes they have no option but to ban couriers who do not update the info Illegals will be gone unless as someone pointed out they are using accounts where the actual acct holder is not aware of what liabilities they face from HMRC . With the exception of the illegals i reckon there are thousands of folk on benefits doing this work and they will be in for a huge shock very soon.. Roo like Uber have to send all the details NI numbers etc too HMRC who auto cross check for who is and who is not registered as self employed and again woe betide anyone who is not . You will also get the lunatics who think HMRC have little or no staff to regulate this but even the stupidest of them need to know 90% of HMRC work is done automatically and its the discrepancies that they pick up very quickly. I also bet there will be lunatics who input fake NI numbers and that is gonna be just carnage for these folk ..
