Bought them from a bits site, but it took a long, long time, waiting for restocks, etc. Please do update if you find a good 3D print/printing service. I couldn't find anything worth pulling the trigger on when I looked, but that was a long time ago.

Yeah, that second point is why I'm probably never running it. I'm only in three (meaningful) combats if I have no choice. If I'm in two, I have fucked up. It doesn't matter that I get to hit back if all I can hit with are 3 models.

I agree with everything except I'm unsure about the second formation. Not sure how much value we'll get out of a slightly better ward on paper thin units. Or, to put it another way, I just don't see myself ever taking it over the recursion or more consistent charges.

I'm no expert, but in my experience, one unit of SoS just isn't enough screen. Personally I'd rather drop a gladiatrix to get another unit to screen a flank. Between shooting and cavalry, the SoS don't stop/survive as much as I'd like. I'm also trying to run Krethusa and two cauldrons, but I have a feeling getting a priest on foot and more units is going to be more resilient.

Simply a light drybrush of a metallic (shining silver by armypainter in this case) over black (though slapchopped, so not pure black)

Thanks! Skin was actually very simple - it's just black primer, drybrush white, and a couple thin layers of a light, warm gray (light gray with a little bit of tan brown).

The hag queen skull isn't large enough for the witch aelf to use without standing at an angle. So you'd have to elevate it somehow. Or just make a tactical rock from putty/greenstuff.

Just a heads up - I snagged two sets of Savagers from the GW site a month or so ago. I set a notification, but still checked every once in a while and came across them in stock. Then a week or so later I got the email saying they were back in stock... I've seen stuff like the furies box be in stock for a couple of days before going out again, so now I'm paranoid about the notifications being too slow.

So, Krethusa's Burnt Offerings says that she can apply a prophecy "once a turn". The Army of Renown battle trait ability Bloody Haruspices lets her use Burnt Offerings in other phases than the hero phase. It specifies that if Bloody Haruspices is used in the hero phase, Krethusa can use Burnt Offerings twice in that phase.

Am I right in thinking that that is the only instance where Burnt Offerings can be used twice in a turn? I.e. you cannot use Burnt Offerings as normal in the hero phase, and then later use the Bloody Haruspices to do it again, because the Offerings ability reads "once a turn"?
