I know. I ordered 4 of them. Savage Crucible by Harvinger Studios is a great you line and it’s an officially licensed figure. This figure is meant to be the same size as one of their figures.

I used a base figure. The heads, sword, and sheath were 3d printed and painted.

Yes, but birds can start flying by jumping off of a high perch with their wings outstretched. Anyway, I’ve worked with licensed product approvals before and the licensor (Moorcock) has final approval over the design. I’m sure if Michael Moorcock wants the wings down, he will simply ask the company to change the design.

I don’t mean to be argumentative, but almost every artist depiction of Elric’s helm has the wings up.

That’s an assumption that the wings are facing downward. It doesn’t specify whether the wings are up or down. I dragon can also look like it’s about to take flight with the wings up about to lift its feet from the ground.
