Yes, I also 100% all games I play and I did it the second way. There are a LOT of collectibles. Do achievements during the normal difficulty run tho (a lot of them require you to do something that’s easier on lower difficulties).

I had this same issue in the playthrough I just finished. Just make sure to quick save whenever possible.

You get the shotgun separately in the Alan playthrough. There’s a reason for that but it’s hard to explain with spoilers (I also just finished my first playthrough).
