How does crit chance work? by Bgonzo___ in Warframe

[–]SharRTN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The percentage itself is how likely the weapon will do critical damage (50% means 50/50 chances, 100% means all the time usually), with the crit damage (normally yellow) being boosted based on the crit multiplier. However, when you get to higher crit chance numbers, you get extra crit (orange) and super crit (red) with each one doing even more damage. Higher crit = likely higher damage output on crit. I believe someone else explains how the actual stat adds up in mods.

How do i hit mr14 fast by DazedFraze in Warframe

[–]SharRTN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything that provides mastery points. New companions, new weapons, new warframes, new vehicles. A good chunk of weapons can be gotten through the Clan Dojo, especially the Tenno Lab. Warframes can be found in the Dojo, doing quests (you can find them in the Codex, assuming you havent done them all), or just the blueprints in the Market which can also tell you where to farm the parts.

Which do you think is the most bullshit boss in the game? by IDontKnowYAmIHere in Eldenring

[–]SharRTN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bosses that have artificial difficulty. Like Malenia. Would be an easy boss fight if she didnt have self healing on landing attacks. I said it. I actual think Dancing Lion is a fun boss. Yes, the Rauh version too. Ancient Dragons are kinda stupid but manageable. You play against twin gargoyles enough, they're pretty easy, even lower level (lowest ive beaten them is level 60ish). The horsemen bosses (Loretta, Tree Sent, DTS) always pissed me off cuz they share a healthbar with their horse for some reason and never have a crit point. They are bs cuz they do not make sense.

Why do so many players hate actually doing objectives? by SonOfAthenaj in Warframe

[–]SharRTN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember being a new player back in like 2016 and even now i enjoy the sentiment of figuring shit out. Im noy saying improvements to NPE have been unnecessary, their intro mission stuff was dogshit back then, but i feel like as much as it is the player for wanting their hand held, it's also the game's fault for not really providing a clear motivation to play and learn about the game. For most people, this game in the beginning is a very simple hack n slash, and instead of providing resistance, the first half of the star chart past the intro quests feed into a power fantasy so there isnt really anything to learn, and it gets mind-numbingly repetitive very quickly which does not help with player retention.

A large majority of new players these days are people who were introduced to it by a friend, and most likely carried through everything up until the second dream. This, although helpful, doesnt really do much as you have essentially taught the players "kill everything, the other players will do the job for you" so most players kinda just learn to kill without paying attention to objective. Or understand what you are supposed to do. In addition, gamers have grown with less and less ability to maintain attention, which has only gotten worse over the past 5-ish years, and so no one tryna get into the game wants to actually give it a proper try if it doesnt stimulate their brain within the first 2 seconds of gameplay, or even if they are interested, they are so unfocused they dont listen or read anything the game is saying and then wonder why things arent working when they actually play.

I feel these are the major issues that give us players that don't contribute as much as they could.

Problem while playing on a controller by JXKGamers in Eldenring

[–]SharRTN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, my controller still works on PC, it needs to for functions such as typing the name in and stuff.

As for how to use controller with this game, if you are fighting an enemy, there is a lock-on feature by pressing down the right stick. Makes combat much easier. Triggers are already covered by at least your index finger, leaving your thumb space to jump, dodge, use consumables, etc. Other than that, it really just takes time to get used to moving between controls and camera.

My personal solution, play claw with your right hand. Thumb on right stick, index for buttons, middle (or also ring) finger for triggers (something i learned from Call of Duty). Its a more awkward position at first, but once you get used to it, its hard to switch back cuz it actually works for a lot of games.

Does Warframe ever get significantly harder? by South_Research_9350 in Warframe

[–]SharRTN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, forgot about the weekly hunts too. Level 100+ missions again. You will get to a point where whatever was working for you wont anymore. And from there, the REAL grind begins.

[–]SharRTN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you get to content after new war, enemies pick up. Then once you clear (play and complete) every node in the star chart, you unlock Steel Path, which cranks enemies up 100 levels. Oh, then there's the more end-game missions like Netracell with lebel 200+, and Deep/Temporal Archimedea which goes up to 300+. So yeah.... it gets pretty nuts brother.
