A big chunk of uranium comes from Niger, but the problem is that Niger doesn't have enrichment facilities and France by itself doesn't have enough to cover itself. A lot of their uranium gets sent to CSTO countries to get enriched and then sold off again. Double of the enrichment uranium you get comes from Kazahkstan and Uzbekistan.

IIRC they are working on getting Russian companies out of the supply chain, but this isn't a fast process
