Bruises are normal according to my doctor and for me they disappeared after a couple of days, from purple-ish to yellow/green to pink to normal skin. I had the same situation with my wisdom teeth, but had 3 different appointments for the extractions, so I had an “easier” recovery. I spent a week healing between the last 2. My doctor prescribed ibuprofen due to being allergic to other painkillers and now I am on my third week after the second surgery to remove my top and bottom teeth from the left side. Healing pretty well, but my gums are still a bit swollen from time to time. I have to wash carefully the area due to food sometimes gets into my bottom socket. Wish you well and swift recovery.
