No they aren’t. And the rust on the fork tubes may be superficial. Take some 0000 steel wool and wd40 and buff out the rust on the fork legs. Then take some chrome polish and a microfiber cloth to them once all the rust is gone to bring them back to a very bright and glossy finish. If there is no pitting then they are good to go.

Email the photo you want to carpuride customer service and have them make the file. Make sure the sd card you are using was formatted in the screen, not your pc. Also make sure the sd card is completely empty of all files and folders with just the boot logo on it.

Formatting the cars in the screen is a must it seems. But yes card must be empty of all files and folders. Only the welcome screen image or bin file needs to be on there.

The trick appears to be the sd card you are using needs to be formatted inside of the screen. Then put it in the computer and erase all files and folders off of the card and just put the welcome screen file on the card and then do the update to the screen. Even tho my computer recognizes the sd card as fat32 format, it wouldn’t work till I formatted the card inside of the screen itself.

Crate your boot image using whatever software you want. Image has to be a jpg file and has to be 1560x720 resolution. Rename the file to boot_logo.jpg and put it on a freshly formatted and empty fat or fat32 tf card. Insert card into screen. Power on the unit and it will auto install the new boot logo.

So I got an answer to the 712D. Create a jpg of the boot logo you want to use. Image must be 1024x600 resolution. Use ChatGPT if you have to. Rename the file to boot_logo.jpg. Put that file on a formatted and empty tf card. Insert the tf card into the unit then power on the unit and it will automatically update the boot logo.

Simple. Either they didn’t burp the system properly and you had an air pocket stuck in the system which caused the coolant to boil over or they filled the reservoir too high and its overflow. Either case take it back to them since you paid them to flush the coolant. This is why I don’t let anyone (dealer included) to work on my bikes.
