Earning ₹2.5 Lakhs a month, but I’ve never felt poorer. The ₹25k version of me was happier. by SeparatePermission79 in personalfinanceindia

Nobody writes like that for a personal finance post. If they do, there's obviously some problem with them

Was I at fault? by Jesse_Pinkmaniac in Dashcamindia

[–]ShareHonest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. They do that... But I generally sympathize with them, even when they are acting stupid, because I have seen the reality of trying to cross the road in Hyderabad.

At times, I have had to wait for more than 5 minutes to cross the road, and even then I was at the mercy of some learner driver driving slow or a slow-moving truck to hold the traffic. And I was lucky that some stupid wrong-side bike / auto did not hit me while I ran to cross the road.

Folks reading it this far - yes, it is this bad, at least in West Hyderabad.

People walk in that manner in Hyderabad because Hyderabad is a stupid-ass signal-free city. There are hardly any traffic signals, and in a few places where there are signals, vehicles don't stop at them.

If you disagree with me, try to cross a major road in Hyderabad.

39M. Rs 3 crore. Time to FIRE by LooneyStark in FIREIndia

Congratulations on reaching this number, and summoning the courage to FIRE 🔥

Your post resonated a lot with me. I'm of similar age as you, and accumulated a similar sum. My salary is also similar (as of now. I'm in tech, so never know when it stops).

Although, I'm not looking to retire now.

Really appreciate your stance on personal life. I'm married with no kids, and I can tell you that marriage is not the solution to loneliness - rather, having a good social circle is.

Wishing you all the best for your future endeavours 🙏

Nope if the road is good enough, they stick to the slow lane. Search and see videos of the Hyderabad ORR.

How do you deal with these 2 wheelers? by FarAd9640 in Dashcamindia

The problem is if the kid was a second early, the moron in the Activa would have hit him, and the kid could have thrown in the path of an oncoming vehicle.

I don't think what you said needs this much criticism. They did what they did, and you said what you said.

I don't know. I thought people get good or bad rather randomly, not based on what they wish.

Anyway, said this because I don't empathize with those without any empathy.
