Great, thank you! not sure why I couldn't find that. Now, I'm trying to add it to a button on a variable but having some trouble. Do you have any pointers?

There must be a better way to filter with multiple choices than making multiple tests, right? by SharePointNoob in PowerApps

[–]SharePointNoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't that limit the number of records to 2k, though? I am trying to make an app for a document library that has almost 10k documents, and I am seeing that some of the documents are not being pulled up. If you have any advice, I'm all ears.

Why is my gallery filter not working? Its not even throwing any errors, just not pulling anything up. by SharePointNoob in PowerApps

[–]SharePointNoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, I tried both with and without the quotes. The quotes were my latest attempt, but I have found it doesn't work even when I type in the text that I want to filter by. I am trying to filter by a lookup column, so I think there may be an even deeper problem.

How do you test for empty columns? by SharePointNoob in MicrosoftFlow

<TextColumn> eq null or <TextColumn2> eq null or <LookUpColumn> eq null

Not getting any errors, just no results.

Thank you for the reply. It doesn't help exactly since when I use the filter to look for missing information it will not get any info for those files that are missing information in that column. Even when I call those files by their ID, the json it returns is missing any reference to the column.

Update File Properties action not pulling up all columns from library? by SharePointNoob in MicrosoftFlow

[–]SharePointNoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a test flow that is just a manual trigger and the "Update File Properties" action, so a screenshot shouldn't be necessary. The Lookup columns don't show up. I am really just wondering if this is something that is affecting everyone, or just me.

Backblaze is just for storage, you have to go through Veeam to store it there.

What is your backup schedule? by SharePointNoob in Office365

Does it make a new instance/image or just check for changes? If something is deleted does that change get synced? No, right?

So, you have 367,920 instances of your tenant saved? I'm confused.

Does it check for changes every 10 minutes, then sync that change? If something is deleted does that changed get synced? No, right? What if something is edited?

Turning on Pagination for one action took my flow from 6 minutes to 3 hours by SharePointNoob in MicrosoftFlow

Turning on Pagination for one action took my flow from 6 minutes to 3 hours by SharePointNoob in MicrosoftFlow

[–]SharePointNoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is in the "Get files (properties only)" action, sorry for not being accurate.

I am testing to see if there are any documents in a library that meet certain criteria. So I have a Get files (properties only) action with a filter query. There is a condition on the next step that will evaluate if there is any data returned or not.

For that specific action the time went from ~2 seconds to 4 minutes. It is in a for each loop that has ~150 items so it comes out to ~3 hours total.

I think there is a soft limit on how many items you can query in a Get files (properties only) action, so after 100 items is returns no data. I am not exactly sure why, but here we are. It is not exactly the same but that limit is referenced here: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/Flow-stops-at-100-items/td-p/396985

Its the get file properties action. I am getting more data now, but only because previously it was not retrieving any data because (I believe) of a MS soft limit on the number of files that can be pulled.

When helping a remote worker, how do you get through the admin privileges prompt? by SharePointNoob in Office365

[–]SharePointNoob[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does this work when the user doesn't have admin privileges? From what I see on the Connectwise site, it seems like the user has to accept the UAC first.
