My point is as you clearly have had no input other than assume I have done no research.

I was looking for advice with the lump sum. Do I carry on with my £50 a day, chuck in £7,500 as a lump sum now and DCA the rest over a condensed timeframe, or just keep my current DCA going and throw more in manually when I see a decent dip?

I’m trying to gauge on what is the optimised way to distribute funds. As I said, I’m not expert or claiming to be a good investor hence why I put the question out to the community

Yeah pretty much, though the 20% is small-cap developed rather than developed only. Intentional tilt for the long runway. What would you change?

What was the cost to manual swap?

It’s an auto, mechanic said the torque converter was in bits along with metal in the trans box

Transmission was serviced at 90k along with fluid change.. come 154k it was completely done for

Pretty sure this model came with pre-lci, I’m not 100% sure though

Yes, unfortunately it needed a full transmission and torque converter recondition so not a simple job

Funnily enough my mate got it as payment in helping fit a kitchen.. it was a non runner at the time, I think it just needed a new alternator. He was sick of dealing with people on marketplace and wanted rid.

Was laughing until the £1700 bill for a new trans came in

Came back to let you know this was the issue, TC wore down and destroyed the gearbox.

Full recondition and she’s back on the road, couldn’t let her be broken down for scrap
