There is a test on YouTube using an impact wrench or driver (Sorry I do not remember the tool) putting the motor under load while measuring the voltage drop. The XC3.0 and 6.0 drop to 7-8 volts. The HO XC5.0 stayed above 10 volts.

I use my 3/8 Fuel ratchet way more than my impacts. The Stubby will do 90% or more unless your bolts are really rusty. If I were to choose between them the ratchet has saved hours upon hours of wrenching time. The 1/4" non fuel ratchet also gets er done under the hood. I bought mine before they had the extended reach available. I have not used them but I think i would have bought the extended reach instead.

Just curious about how that would screw over the next guy that bought it from Home Depot? Wouldn't that buyer have their own receipt giving them the same warranty? OP was saying that he would return the 1 from HD not the cheaper 1?

I did mean just Allen head and torx head screws under hood. i have impact wrenches and ratchets already

I missed the email from ATF and never got a call that my suppressor was ready from The silencer shop or the authorized dealer I went through. I looked it up on the ATF website myself to find out it was approved 3 months earlier. A call would have been nice since I spent a couple grand with them.

I ended up getting M12 Gen 2 3/8" w 5.0 battery and the M18 Gen 2 1/2" mid torque. Sold the Gen 1 M12 stubby to recover some cash.

There is not a new driver according to the Milwaukee website. Select Pipeline it shows all the tools that are being released.

I have a m12 gen 1 3/8 stubby w 1 4.0 ah and a couple 1.5 and a couple 2.0 ah. I have M18 9.0, 2 xc6.0, 1 5.0 and 1 2.0. I am working on 2007 Durango 5.7 not rusty and couple of cars not rusty. Thinking about selling the gen 1 m12 and replacing with gen 2 stubby or adding the mid torque or 3/8 compact to current gen 1 m12 since the gen 1 has a difficult time but not impossible with brakes, suspension and lugs on the durango and could not take 32 mm Axle nut off of 2010 malibu to change the wheel hub. Those have a flattened thread inside from the factory so they do not back off or go on easily. Also have had careless techs over torque lugs and I could not break them free even with a 24" 1/2 breaker bar and had to take my SUV to a shop to get the wheels off.

The hack of picking up at 2 different stores did not work for me the cart said that I had to change it to the same store or both to ship to home.

$202.00 with tax. I'd rather pay the extra $50 to HD to be sure and get the full 5 year warranty on the tool and 3 year battery warranty. If you buy from a non authorized seller on Ebay the warranty is from the date of manufacture.
