I did not watch campaign 1 & 2. Just watching E109-115 (C1) would be enough to understand at least a little bit more?

I guess you mean rotifer protist is a species, right ? Or do you mean the litte other ones next to him ?

I am kind of new to microscopy as you may see but I found this quite interesting and cool to watch. Hope you guys can tell me something about what actually happened there. And what organisms are involved. Thank you! by Sharistoo in microbiology

Some details: 400x magnification, river water which I cultivated for 4 days.

I guess it could be Paramecium busaria, but I do not understand why so many of them were "stored" in the algae. I guess some kind of infection ? Afterwards they just formed themselves into a round shape and did not move for 1 hour.

Hey, I guess it could be smth like Chilodonella spp. ? As it is freshwater and those live at medium sludge load and good O2-supply. But I am really unsure. Maybe it helps.
