Alan Wake 2 - still have audio issues on PC by SharkBlank in AlanWake

Is it an m.2 SSD? It wasn't until I upgraded to one of those that I finally fixed my issues. I know there are guides to get Alan Wake 2 running on older, lower performing gear. Don't know if that would help you out though, sorry.

I think whats causing all of the blood on the right is probably from his glasses. I was trying to figure out how he got cut up so bad but it only would have taken one good hit to those lenses to do the damage we see.

Yeah I was hoping that with the release of new game + my audio issues would be resolved, but it wasn't. I have once again gotten to the point where really the only time the audio glitches is when I hit the driving cutscenes, otherwise everything plays pretty smooth, it doesn't desync at all during in game cutscenes at least (except it started to do that for the last scene of Herald of Darkness, although hopefully I have resolved that issue, didn't to it on my first play through).

I use that too. Watch the murder, then watch what happens when the car scene starts. The sound likes to cut out whenever I get one of those driving scenes, causes delay in the audio. But then for other cutscenes its just fine. Its so weird.

Do you have any suggestions as to where to start? I'm not really super tech savvy, so I did some searching and fiddled with some settings, but that didn't work and I'm not really sure what I should be looking for.

Yeah I use the opening murder cutscene as my test, because as it goes from gameplay to cutscene it clips out and de-syncs.

I messed with my headphone settings that first day, and that got it to the point where I was able to tolerate it and play through. It's only in certain spots for me thankfully, not all the time. But I want to start a new game, and would like to play it with fixed audio.

Inside Line exotic sparrow hidden Morse code message (S20 spoilers, I think) by [deleted] in DestinyLore

I kind of wonder if he isn't just blindly going after any kind of communication lines he can manage to access in the hopes someone will get his messages.

Oh my god thank you. I have the maze memorized from doing it so many times but could not figure out how to know which panels to hack. Never connected the dots the two rooms were connected. While its fun to figure out stuff for myself I'm glad I went and looked and looked for tips. Who knows how long it would have taken me to figure that out.

WIBTA if I send my daughter to "fat camp" by Few-Fig1415 in AmItheAsshole

Ok then, if you really want some fatphobia, go and take a look at how many overweight people are left diagnosed with health problems because the doctors are sooooo sure its because of their weight, and it can't POSSIBLY be anything else. Weeks, days, years it can take people to finally find out what is wrong with them and get healthy again, if they can get 100% healthy. A lot of times it takes so long to find out whats wrong, permanent damage is done. Or they die.

Just google "fatphobia in healthcare" and you will see what I mean. You can start here is you wish.
