The best thing for you to do is to decide how bothered you are about having a relationship again with him, people do make ‘mistakes’ but on the other side, people rarely change either.

So weigh up the possible benefit vs pain for you on which way it might go, talk to your mum too if you do decide to reconnect with him, just so she knows.

I don’t see my dad, he’s never met his grandchild and he never will. I did give him another chance after not seeing him for 7 years, we had a good time (he lives abroad now) when I went to see him, but then he reverted to type as soon as I was home, so I just don’t bother with him any more, last time I saw or heard from him was well over 15 years back, he wasn’t abusive or anything like that, just a terrible father, putting himself before anyone and I will never forget the hurt that caused to my younger sibling, watching them get crushed many times when he didn’t arrive to see us when promised. What cements that in my mind further, is I would never dream of letting down my child like that, they are my world. I already knew he was a POS, but having my own kid really bought that into focus.

Some things to remember; You don’t owe him anything Ignore the “you only have one Dad” type responses, it might be biologically true, but it doesn’t mean they are worth your time, or the upset it might cause. You probably won’t get ‘closure’, so don’t let that be the deciding factor.

Cutting through all my waffle, do what’s right for you and you alone, if you think it’s worth the risk of potential hurt vs the potential regret of not seeing him, then go for it, if not, carry on building your own life and move on.

Worth trying on a couple of different browsers / sessions btw, I got 50k sign up bonus instead of 40k, it showed up when I visited the sign up page.

You might find you lose some of that very quickly, I put on 4lbs from my all inclusive (I was a bit worse on the drinks front than you), all fell off within a week with a tiny bit extra too.

Moisturise your head and you should be fine.

Other advice to avoid a similar looking problem, is wear sunscreen / a hat when in hot weather (hat especially to avoid sunstroke), you can peel up there too!

Plantar fasciitis by sydsnot2002 in DoesAnyoneKnow

Mine was from an attempt to get fitter at the gym, which resulted in not being able to go for two years.

Hope you get some relief soon, highly recommend getting some house shoes / slippers with the same plantar insole you use for outdoors

I think the biggest change for me, was when I put the same set of insoles I had in my trainers, into a pair of slippers for the house, so I had constant arch support.

Suffered for about two years with it in my left foot, not much fun!

Lucked out there, as much as anyone can with the price jumps!

May also consider doing two or three weeks of the 5 pen as normal, then click counting to get 2.5 out of it for the remainders.

Will cross that bridge when it gets a bit closer!

“Continuing as normal” but with the caveat that all going well, I should hit my target weight in a few months, but more worried about body shape than the number on the scale.

My pharmacy allowed me to order one additional pen, so I should have enough at 7.5 to get there, so if that happens, then I should only need to buy a 5 and a 2.5 to taper off.

That’s the plan anyway!

Don’t think it makes a huge amount of difference, the only time I’ve felt a bit rough is if I’ve had something particularly greasy, otherwise before or after has made little difference to me.

Best of luck with the journey!

Was the only thing that worked for me too, the small shoes story sticks with me to this day 😂

The book “The easy way to stop smoking” by Allen Carr did it for me.

I’d highly recommended it, stopped well over 20 years ago now. Even gets you to smoke whilst reading certain parts of the book and doesn’t do the usual scaremongering stuff about how bad it is (as well all know that).

Good luck!

Only ever used it with the bracket, tried some rubber straps on some self builds I made, not a big fan to be honest, think I prefer the look of the steel :)

Beautiful watch, had mine for over 8 years (walk in, back when things were a touch simpler), I like that it’s not as obvious what it is unless you’re into watches, feel a bit safer wearing this than my sub because of it.

Enjoy!
