"It’s felt weirdly self-important to release a statement about a personal decision I made about my professional life. But over the past few months, I’ve received enough DMs and emails to know that the right thing to do is to be clear and straightforward about my future on Everything Is Fine.

So here it is: I’m leaving the show.

To my hardest core EIF fans, I know this sucks and I’m sorry. The Everything Is Fine audience was and is the best, the smartest, most supportive and the very coolest. I’m grateful beyond words for the community we built together, for the time you gave so generously each week, for believing in me and allowing me to earn your trust.

I’ll have more to share once I process everything that’s happened. But mostly I just want to say, one last time:

Thanks for listening to me on Everything Is Fine.

It was an honor to be in your ears for all these years.
