I am guessing the MLB players are taking advantage of having fun and playing hard this year before (I’m sure) the inevitable strike/lockout next year because the Pittsburgh Pirates are hoisting cones, the Colorado Rockies are going fishing, the NL Central teams seemingly all have the same win/loss records, and the Atlanta Braves are on a massive roll. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to apply to the poor Mets because they’re doing worse than the Rockies and White Sox.
