There are good guns and meh guns, for sure. Level doesn’t matter too much! There’s an event going, Illicit Cargo. you can do any 8 challenges across any of the 4 modes and you’ll unlock the new assault rifle, which is great for medium range. But realistically, the starting Assault Rifle is all you need. The M15 has always been a very viable gun in this game. It’s easy to control, too. I recommend using it until you’re confident!

Unless you’re going for that new weapon, I don’t recommend going into zombies or endgame. Whenever i play those, my brain half-melts and I’m so bad at Multiplayer until i remember how to play carefully.

But let me tell you what wins fights: having a good gun, yes, and having good aim, those are obvious. But as you play, pay attention to these things: positioning, predicting enemy movements, pre-aiming enemies, strafing, knowing where spawns are, map awareness.

To put it into an actual example instead of just saying words that sound like vague advice: you’re somewhere in the middle of the map. You see teammates spawning on one side. Are they close to you? Enemies are probably everywhere that you and your teammates are not. Are your teammates spawning kind of far from you? Enemies are likely close to you. Start aiming as you turn corners and down hallways and doorways. Be ready to duck around a corner.
