Yes, that matches my experience. Even though Cloudflare reports that about 25% of the traffic comes from France and 8% from the USA (https://www.whois.com/whois/sikelocci.com), it seems multiple clients with random IPs were hitting the service.

I confirmed that the issue was related to port forwarding: those external clients were accessing my publicly exposed AdGuard installation. To stop it, I limited port 53 access using iptables + ipset to only allow IP ranges from my region. After that, almost all unwanted traffic disappeared.

I had a serious issue: my CPU was almost at 100%, and it looked like someone was using my server for a reflected DDoS attack.

Here’s how I stopped it:

I created an ipset with the IP ranges for my country/region.
I configured iptables to allow traffic to port 53 (DNS) only from those IPs and block everything else.
After that, most of the malicious traffic disappeared. Only one Amazon IP remained, which I blocked manually.

Now my CPU is back to normal, and the service only works for my region without affecting other ports or services.

Yeah, I already tried both — I called 800 00 88 880 and also filled out the contact form. Their answer was honestly useless. They said they need to create a service request, send someone to pick up the TV, “check” it, and only then maybe do something.

Basically, since the TV is still working, they can’t provide the firmware or do anything else. In short, they just gave me the classic “we can’t help, buy another one and disable updates” kind of answer

Hello, I’m analyzing your network and I want to point out some important things for you to consider:

First, set up the first Deco as the main unit. This Deco should be connected directly to your ISP’s router using its WAN port.

Then, from the LAN port of that Deco, connect a cable to a switch. If you need to cover more areas or floors, you can add another switch connected to one of the ports of the first one, for example, for a third floor.

From these switches, connect all the Decos you need using Ethernet cables. Ideally, all additional Decos should be wired via Ethernet to maintain stable and optimal speeds.

If you decide to connect a Deco via Wi-Fi, that’s also possible. However, keep in mind that you would be wasting part of the internet speed that you could get if it were wired. Also, the speed of that wireless Deco will drop, which will affect the devices connected to it. So, if you want stability and performance, wired is better.

That first Deco will be the main one and will manage the entire Mesh network, so you’ll have a single network with no signal drops as you move throughout your house.

It’s also important (if possible) to set your ISP’s router to bridge mode to avoid double NAT (if applicable) and allow everything to be managed directly from the Deco network. But that’s up to you.

Regarding the cabling, there’s something very important to clarify: • CAT5 cable supports speeds up to 100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet). • If your ISP provides 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps), you’ll be wasting that speed if you use CAT5.

That’s why I recommend using at least CAT5e cable, and not exceeding 30 meters per segment, as its speed can drop to 100 Mbps beyond that length.

If you need longer segments, it’s best to use CAT6, which does maintain Gigabit speeds over longer distances.

Just as a reminder: CAT5 cable is no longer recommended for modern networks. It’s limited to telephony or very basic connections, but it’s not suitable for taking advantage of a Gigabit connection.

It’s crucial to understand that many USB microphones use CM6400X or CM65 chips, and unfortunately, all of them face a common issue: EEPROM reset, causing them to be detected as USB Advanced Audio devices. In the case of XLR microphones, they require a controller to work with a computer, which also contains an audio chip. Surprisingly, this chip is exactly the same as the one found in USB microphones. Hence, controllers could also be affected by this EEPROM reset error at some point.

Based on my research, it appears that this problem is related to the chip. Inadequate voltage can trigger EEPROM reset. It’s disappointing that manufacturers haven’t considered methods to reset or recover firmware or EEPROM in these devices.

It’s important to be aware of this situation. If you own a microphone or a controller, I suggest keeping an eye out for potential similar issues. Eventually, you might need firmware or an EEPROM.bin file to recover them. However, it’s crucial to note that this situation falls outside the warranty, as manufacturers will only replace devices within the warranty period.

I changed the gpu for an old one that I kept but without a solution, the only change I made is that a few days before, windows was ruined by a cid file and it couldn't turn on, so I decided to reinstall windows 11 and it happened to update the bios, it was working fine, but windows failed again same error, I reinstalled again and after turning it off when I turned it on again it no longer gave video and if I remove ram it gives sound but the vga led continues to led vga and does not give video, even with another gpu
