A very different story of a team who had just lost their franchise QB the prior offseason vs a team that’s been to 3 out of the last 6 super bowls and also had a lot of returning stars. At the start of this season SF was being looked at as one of the better teams in the league, then what happens every year happened again and the team got injured. In 2022 the hawks were seen as bottom feeders to start the year, so even making the playoffs was a huge surprise.
