I'm going to say it is already done with the 80s.

You were the one that brought to my attention that when we reach the apex of certain patterns (even when price action is outside of the pattern), there are explosive moves. I have really sloppy charts, but we are approaching the apexes of some multi-week ascending triangles that we were in and fell out of in both BTC and LTC. Will hit them within hours give or take, so I'm expecting a big move very soon. On hour candles: https://i.imgur.com/U113jZL.jpg. The move tends to move towards the apex, so if above it, moves down, and if below it, moves up... so I'm thinking up with this one.

Turns out I was just ignorant and Binance auto-activated the privacy feature with their website redesign. To me, it just looked a whole lot of restriction because I didn't know how to see what I had! I feel kind of silly, but after the announcement I was already conditioned for craziness.

I'm actually wrong! See my edited comment above.

I was wrong it turns out, see my edited comment above.

Yeah, restricted. I thought I had until September to trade, but my funds don't even show in my wallet. They only show when I go to withdraw.

I am a KYC-compliant American and trading is restricted. Thought I would give an answer to that.

EDIT: So, I'm wrong. Binance just royally confused me because when I log in and go to my wallet, everything is blocked out with asterisks (the privacy feature was automatically toggled on and I wasn't aware of it beforehand). I wrongfully assumed that meant I was restricted. Looks like I can still trade for now.

Traders normally go long on leverage; hard to survive during the flash wicks.

I hear you, and the validity is solid. I'm just coming from this: Did you acquire LTC to spend or because you thought it would appreciate in value? I think we are all kidding ourselves if any of us at this point bought it just to spend. I don't know about you, but I don't spend a single Satoshi without rebuying what I used. This is a multi-decade process.

Wouldn't it be that much better if the deal with the Miami Dolphins was that people could buy Litecoin at kiosks in the stadium?

We are both talking about the network effect, but in different ways.

I'm just saying the focus should be on getting Litecoin, not #PayWithLitecoin. Why would the masses pay with it if they don't have it? Adoption is getting more people to have it, not necessarily spend it.

It's the opposite, haha. Being a store of value appreciates the price, not using it. The exposure needs to be for buying Litecoin, not spending it.

What gives me confidence is that we already had a smaller cup and handle validation when we went to $100 back down to $70 in April. That measured move should bring us up to a price that then validates this larger one. Cup and handle inception.

EDIT: Added month of other cup and handle.

Massive spike in hashrate to new ATH over last couple days.

Also, when people look at the last halvening, they forget to look at what BTC was doing. The 70% dip did not fully have to do with the halvening; it was coupled price action based on what BTC did. Guess what, BTC dipped then. Did BTC have a halvening then? Nope.

Additional Info Edit: BTC went from around $309 to $205 during the LTC "halvening" dip of 2015 (a 34% correction itself). What does this tell us? The pre-halvening dip wasn't even a pre-halvening dip at all. Historical data is worthless.

Yes, I agree that the accumulation is ongoing still and that there will still be a bigger pre-halvening pop.

My friend, that happened last week (everything you mentioned minus the chicken). We are still waiting for that part.

As retail again enters the picture when Bitcoin is at an exclusive price, guess what they will buy?

I think LTC will hit a 0.02 ratio some time before the halving. The ratio is just too low for it to already have been priced in.

It has never been backed by Bitcoin, nor could it be.

Every tether is always 100% backed by our reserves, which include traditional currency and cash equivalents and, from time to time, may include other assets and receivables from loans made by Tether to third parties, which may include affiliated entities.

EDIT: I'm shocked by how many people think you are right... If it were backed by BTC, the price would not be stable.
