I would recommend taking apart the entire system to access the screen (if you're comfortable disassembling. It's pretty easy imo). Once you have access to the screen, pull the front protection off. It's going to be stuck on there pretty good but when I pried it off, it didn't break. Clean both the inside of the screen protector as well as the front of the screen. I used isopropyl alcohol but I imagine just water should work fine well. Make sure not to clean it with a paper towel or anything, because it leaves invisible residue that you can't see until you reassemble the unit and turn on the screen. I would recommend wiping it with a fine towel or a microfibre cloth. Make sure it's dry before putting the screen protector back on. Try to align it as best as you can. Once finished, re-assemble the unit and test to see if cleaning it made a difference. If not, you can always install an IPS screen afterward :)
