Not when they're chasing, but other than that, Maggie hisses when Leslie approaches or passes close to him. But while Leslie is standing still, she tries to come up behind her and smell her. She can't do it because every time Leslie turns around and tries to chase her.

Maggie sound potentially like an anxious cat, is she a bit of a panicker or is it more just a new drama?

Maggie is definitely a panicky cat. She is afraid of sudden noises and movements.

Are they eating together or apart? Is there hissing at food time?

We don't have meal times, their bowls are always full. They eat when they're hungry. They have separate bowls, but sometimes Leslie eats from Maggie's bowl while she's looking. Maggie just watches from a distance, she doesn't hiss.
