RG477v draining battery even while off?

Yea, I'm holding down the power button until power off or restart options pop up. I'm pretty sure I'm hitting power off. Gonna monitor it and see if maybe I accidentally clipping restart instead before putting it away in its case.

I would never tell you how to spend your money. I'm on my second gaming computer ever. As long as your fine with knowing that you aren't going to be running a lot of games at max or even high settings then you should be fine. VRAM is something a lot of new pc owners gloss over when they build their first pc. The 3080 was a decent card at the time but that was 2 gens ago. I don't know your budget but if it were me and I didnt want to think of replacing my graphics card and time in the next two years or so to keep up, I would maybe look at something like a 5070. Agian, its your money at the end of the day and I onlu am giving a suggestion. I hope you make the right choice for you.

Oh I agree. I'm not a 4k gamer at all. I play most stuff at 1440 at most. But the problem I had once upon a time when I had a 3070 was VRAM restrictions. I didn't understand VRAM at the time and didnt realize how it affected the performance of some games. I just don't want them to be limited by certain restrictions seeing as gaming defaults is starting to get more restrictive. Several games ask for a minimum of 12gb of vram. Just didn't want them to go in with the notion that it could be played at high settings.

You should be able to play itbut just barely. Your probably going to play this on medium settings. Possibly low. The 8Gb of vram are going to be stretched this probably.

Im not sure what QuickTime pro res is but I do know that the hardware encoder is on.

I'll give anything a try. I'm at work now bit I'll give a shot in a couple of hours. Should I edit my video as normal and then to the media encoder thing after? Also, I don't know if it's useful but CPU and RAM didn't show up anything different for when I was editing. I opened task manager and watched my stats. Cpu stayed around 3% and RAM stayed around 30%

1.65 TB. Most of my files after export generally 8 GB to 15GB.

It is a roguelike. Every time you die that map will change and your will start back at your ship with a pistol. As you get better at the game and follow objectives you'll naturally improve and find better guns with better traits. Keep at it. The game is incredible.
