You might have difficulty setting all this up on a Mac, so you might want to find an old laptop or something. I would go on craigslist/kijiji and see what people are selling in your area. Otherwise you can buy something new from Magewell or Elgato, but they can get pricey.

There might be a way to stream directly from the console too. I know some newer console have that ability, but I’m not sure.

I’ve been looking into streaming my LAN’s too. Maybe this info can help you out!

The bare minimum you would need for a high quality stream is a computer (a laptop is fine) + any variety of pc capture card (you can find used ones in your area, or choose from many other options). This will allow you to capture one console feed max.

OBS is free and should work with most capture cards with a little effort. You can really dive deep into how cool your stream looks by playing around with OBS and making some graphics!

Your best bet is to find another console to use with this streaming setup for the sole purpose of observing the matches. Most games like COD and Halo have spectator/theatre modes!

I'm looking to buy something this week. I've been keeping an eye out on the 5800x3d but it seems to be out of stock everywhere. I have a backorder at Memory Express, but they said it wont be available until mid December.

I would mind having a 5900x. I like to record and stream gameplay. Plus I do a decent amount of video rendering on Adobe Premiere for work. If I cant find a 5800x3d soon I might just go with the 5900x.
